My main installation at the Big Stick Shindig will be a "sacred ice fire" in a communal location. An ice fire is a melting ice installation, which at night is lit, thus the evoking the "ice fire." For this event it will be kept melting the entire duration of the event, in much the same way many cultures keep a sacred fire going during the duration of the communal gatherings.
In addition to sacred ice fire, there will be some smaller table top and free standing ice installations distributed in various locations.
Those of you who were able to visit the Ice Fire Chill Station at Room Service will be familiar with the idea.
I would love to provide ice art for any projects that would like to incorporate it into their projects.
Free standing floor installations can be used as welcome beacons, accent lighting, or an interactive feature.
Table top pieces provide a nice alternative to candles on table tops.
Or if have a unique idea for a way to use ice in your project, I'm game.
If your project would like an ice installation please contact me directly via email at carter@carterbrooks.com or via Slack.

I am looking for help with a couple of things
Shade Design
The sacred ice fire should be shaded from direct sun during the day. I have a low impact concept, but need help making it a quality production.
Transportation
Since I am not a CAT project for Big Stick, I don't have access to the Art Truck to transport coolers, stands and buckets.
The coolers are where I need the most help with. The coolers take up space, but will be empty. The ice itself will be delivered directly to Saratoga Spring, but it will be helpful to be able to put it in coolers to help it keep until it is used. They will be empty, so can be used as a bin for packing your own materials, which hopefully can be a win win.
Narrative Integration
The simple and obvious narrative integration is, of course, penguins. If your project has anything to do with penguins, you can help me with my own penguin costuming, or want to be a fan of the projet an recruit other fans to be penguins, that would be super helpful.
Lighting
I am always willing collaborate with lighting designers to up my game. This is where I need the least help, but it's always a good opportunity to learn and improve.
If you can help with either of these, place email directly at carter@carterbrooks.com or Slack
